EDUCATION
MFMs are physicians that pursue advanced training after completing a residency in OB-GYN and have expertise in the medical, obstetrical, and fetal complications of pregnancy.

ROLE AS A PROVIDER
MFMs can provide consultation, co-management and facilitate transfer of care for patients with complications arising before, during or after pregnancy.

WHO MFMs WORK WITH
MFMs work with OBGYNs, Fertility doctors and other women’s healthcare providers (e.g.CNMs, family practitioners) to provide evidence- based recommendations and guidance regarding high-risk pregnancies.
